Tatanka Yotanka, better known as Sitting Bull, Red Skin Sioux Chief (1834-1890), Defender of his people, their customs and traditions, was a respected Sioux leader, later he contributed to the treaties with the new Americans, best known for his portraits while travelling with Buffalo Bill with whom he allied himself in his performances, in the end he never quite gave up and ended up as every great hero, murdered.
